This small tree is very similiar to M. 'Rudolf' only with brighter and larger flowers.  It has a loose, open habit with a beautiful, dark pink blossom display in spring.  The leaves begin their life dark red, turning to dark green later in summer, making this a great tree to use as a contrast against lighter coloured plants.
