Fruit:  Red, fleshy arils with large seeds inside – the seeds are poisonous.

Bark: Red coppery colour.

Leaves:  Evergreen, shiny, dark green needles.

Ultimate height:  7m

Uses:  A narrow, upright version of the Yew.  A good plant to use as an evergreen architectural statement either side of an entrance, or as a punctuation in the landscape.
