We are humbled and privileged to work with so many incredible garden designers. Hear how some of them feel about working with us…

“I’ve watched the stock grow along with the whole team at New Wood trees, since first visiting back in 2015. In that time we’ve bought hundreds of trees, some are trees that I will never forget, all of them beautiful and healthy specimens, that are cherished by our clients. Working with Philip, Caleb and the wider team is always a pleasure, they care hugely about their trees and their customers alike.”

“We’ve got some lovely trees here at Knepp Wilding all source from New Wood Trees nursery. We’ve got a little grove of Acer Campstre here – the field Maple. And we’ve also got Malus Everest, right in the centre of our kitchen courtyard, the nice big Crab Apple. The reason that I went to New Wood Trees is because multi stem trees do have a sort of real natural quality that I was looking to recreate. Out in the, scrubby, wood pasture landscaping here at Knepp you don’t see perfect, single stem trees in the landscape. You get trees that are constantly grazed by animals and browsed, which which throws up into all of these really architectural shapes.
And, new wood trees had a pretty good collection of very nice multi stem forms, which I thought, we just had to get into this landscape because it seemed very, very fitting. So I hope you can enjoy the like this as I do when I’m drinking my coffee here.“

“It’s great having young trees field grown in the UK, which all helps with adaption to our climate, and at New Wood they don’t use any peat on site! A win win for those wishing to make positive environmental choices.”

“New Wood trees supply some of the best quality, most characterful and lovingly cared for trees in the UK. It’s always a pleasure to head to the nursery and fields to get spot on advice, and pick out some beautiful specimens for a specific project. Being grown in the UK has many benefits and it’s great to be able to support one of our own nurseries..”

“I feel really privileged to have found Philip and New Wood Trees early on in their history, when the idea of Multi stemmed UK field grown trees was a real novelty. Since then I have bought and planted a multitude of trees from them, and have never had a failure or issue. I usually visit their fields at least once a year to tag and hug, and I definitely get mixed feelings when I see mere holes in the nursery where lovely trees once caught my eye, but then smile when I see the next generation growing away in ever increasing numbers. If there was a negative, it’s that too many people are finding out about NWT. “
