Acer cappadocicum ‘Rubrum’ are medium to large trees with lovely, rounded canopies. In spring, the new growth is bright red and makes a great focal point against the darker leaves, which, come autumn, turn golden yellow. Acer cappadocicum develop clusters of small, yellow-green flowers in spring which are followed by winged seeds.
