Cornus kousa ‘China Girl – Chinese Dogwood

In stock

Cornus kousa ‘China Girl’ is a shrub grown for its bright white bracts during early summer and good autumn colour. The bracts are a pure, creamy white colour and appear later than most spring flowering trees. These contrast beautifully against the dark green oval shaped leaves. These leaves turn red and orange in the autumn and are accompanied by bright pink strawberry-like fruits.

Cornus kousa ‘China Girl’ perform best when getting plenty of sunlight and can live quite happily in a pot.  With a bit of time and some strategic pruning, they can also be made to look like small trees.
