Prunus laurocerasus ‘Etna’ is a compact version of the Cherry Laurel, never exceeding more than about 2.5m in height. They’re particularly slow growing which means there’s significantly less maintenance involved when trying to keep to a certain size or use as a hedge.
They produce plenty of small white flowers in the spring which are a great attraction to pollinators. And the fresh new growth comes out as a beautiful reddish orange. This is all followed by small black cherries which are very popular with birds.
