Acer x freemanii ‘Autumn Blaze’, or Freeman Maple is a graceful tree with light green leaves and silvery undersides which give a bit of extra interest during the summer months. As the name suggests, Acer x freemanii ‘Autumn Blaze’ takes centre stage during the autumn when the tree comes ablaze with the brightest colour display as the leaves change to bright orange and red. A very attractive tree with a broad pyramidal crown which needs a bit of space in order to develop to its full potential, but can be kept smaller by careful pruning
